SMATV
System includes the reception & processing of satellite
TV signals and their distribution to end users.
RF
Distribution:
Analogue & Digital signal processing modules with and
without common interface are used for the processing of the
satellite signals and terrestrial modules for terrestrial
signals into standard TV channel for RF distribution system.
Modulator modules convert the AV signals into standard TV
channels. Digital QAM modules which process one transponder
program into QAM signals and the encryption can be retained
for pay channels if required.
Head
End Equipments:
The new headend station system from Hirschmann for adjacent
channel operation is used for the reception and processing
of analog and digital satellite programs, ADR signals,
as well as terrestrial TV and FM programs. The head end
station consists of the Basic Unit, CSE 2000, with 8 slots
for modules. Integrated into the base unit is a programmable
input distribution panel with six inputs and 16 outputs.
An integrated control unit allows easy programming of
all modules. Attenuator on each module allows the balancing
of the output level. |

Compact
Digital Headend CDH 1000:
The Compact Digital Headend is the headend for the new
generation and is used for the processing of digital
TV and terrestrial digital programmers into
analogue audio or video signals. The system features a
compact design, flexible configuration options and focuses
on all the important digital processing types.
Thus the CDH 1000
is the ideal, future-proof compact headend for use in
new and existing MATV installations.

IF
Distribution:
Compact IF to IF combiners, 5 cable 9 cable & 17 cable
single multiswitchers with 4, 6, 8, 12 and 16 independent
subscriber connections, cascadable multiswitchers with 4 &
8 subscriber connections are used for IF distribution.

The
CSE 12 makes it possible to receive up to 40 analogue and
several hundred digital channels in the output frequency range
from 950 MHz to 2150 MHz which can be distributed through

Multimedia
environments have become a reality in almost all areas of
life. In offices, hotels and even at home, information can
be gathered through the internet, by phone and fax as well
as TV and radio. So far, different parallel cabling infrastructures
for the diverse services delay the supply of multimedia based
services to a whole area. However, the CatTV Multimedia System
solution is now available to integrate all services including
satellite and cable TV into a standardized symmetric cabling
system and to deliver any service out of any data outlet in
only ONE network.
The
fundamental idea behind CatTV Multimedia System approach is
based on a high-grade, balanced cabling system with balanced
twisted pair copper cables and compatible active multimedia
components. This system enables the transmission of ALL data,
voice and CATV services with a bandwidth of 5 to 862 MHz over
ONE single standardized data cable. Being a full category
6/7 cabling system on all pair combinations, it also supports
10 GB Ethernet transmissions. A backbone distributes TV signals
to the different floors of the environment. The CatTV panel,
being the active component installed in the floor distributor,
it amplifies, splits, distributes the signals and adjusts
bad signals to every output. It also converts data from the
coaxial into the balanced technique. A short connection cable
(patch cable) links the floor distributor and the structured
building cabling up to the workplace (CatTV balun). There,
the signals are re-converted into a TV compatible form. (See

Active
distributor field for the distribution of CATV-signals over
structured cabling system. The CatTV panel converts the CATV
signal (coaxial/75 Ohm) into a balanced signal (sym./100 Ohm)
for transmission over the structured cabling system

Balun
The
catTV balun converts the symmetrical signal (100 Ohm) received
from the catTV panel over the application-neutral cabling
into a coaxial (75 Ohm) that the end unit (e.g. TV or radio)
can process.

A 3 position switch provides adjustment for cable length,
attenuation and equalization.

path (5-30 MHz or 5-65 MHz).
The
system is useable on a modular basis and upgradeable in any

to the demand, the transmission of TV signals can be included

ELVOX offers a new monitor for two-channel open-voice
installations.
Designed for flush wall-mounting, the monitor has a very slim
profile and compact size (14x14 cm, and external thickness
of just 9 mm). It has a 4" LCD colour display (standard
PAL, 625 lines, 50 frames) which is vertically angle-adjustable

Audio
Intercom Systems: The
systems have been designed to eliminate the call identification
associated with large scale multi installations. The Sound
System makes it possible to generate the audio signals with
different tones for immediate identification of the call source.
The systems are with several entrance panels with or without

and with an automatic switching facility for communication
with the entrance panel.

control and routing, it is a critical component and
therefore requires monitoring. The Alpha can also be
configured to perform monitoring on other critical
paths and components connected to it.

part 8 and other standards requires to be
specifically designed to achieve that end.

Amtel Access Control Panel: Two Port with TCP/IP |
 Access
Control panels with TCP/IP (XP/IP) can control up to
two doors or gates and offers advanced features not
available on panels costing twice as much. It can be used as
a Stand alone panel or a network panel on a new or existing
LAN/WAN computer network; or, it can be connected over a
232/485 network; or, can operate over a regular phone line.
XP/IP
Access Control Panel offers distributed processing with a
powerful processor so all decisions are made at the panel and
the communication to the PC is neither critical nor essential.
The access control panel can support upwards of 20,000 users;
can hold a 5000 transaction buffer; has a practically unlimited
capacity for Time Zones and Access Levels; 12 different Time
Clock Control Schedules; offers up to 8 inputs (4 supervised)
and up to 8 outputs (4 relays) and offers a total of 4
serial ports.
The
unique mounting panel allows for a unique installation guideline
that allows easy marking of all field wiring and will work with
both a conventional housing and structured wiring enclosures.
The
XP/IP panel works with the AMWATCH Access Control Software to
offer a full range of features normally associated only with
larger and more expensive systems. Features like "Remote
Download" capability, "Self-Diagnostics", Multiple Mounting
Options.
Software Programs
This is what truly separates AMTEL from the
rest. Specialized programs can work in stand-alone applications
but since they all share the common AMWATCH platform, they can
seamlessly integrate with each other for a unified system.
Visitor Management, Photo-Badging, CCTV monitoring, Web-based
